How do I calculate how much concrete I need?

For example, If your slab is 10 meter long by 10 meter wide, the Area is 100 square meter. If you want the slab to be 10cm deep, you’ll need 10m3 of concrete. 10 x 10 x 10 = 1000. Then 1000 divided by 100 = 10 cubic meters.
The concrete quantity in cubic feet
To calculate how much concrete you need for slab in cubic feet, multiply the Length in feet by Width in feet by Thickness in inches. Then divide the resulting figure by 12 to get volume of concrete slab in cubic feet.
The rule: The concrete quantity in cubic feet = the slab surface (ft^2) x the thickness (in feet). If you measured the length and width in feet and the thickness in inches, you must convert the thickness measurement to feet before calculating the volume.
For example, If your slab is 30 feet long by 20 feet wide, the Area is 600 square feet. If you want the slab to be 4 inches deep, you’ll need 33.33 cubic feet of concrete. 10 x 10 x 4 = 400. Then 400 divided by 12 = 33.33 cubic feet.

To calculate how much concrete you need for slab in cubic yard, multiply the Length in feet by Width in feet by Thickness in inches. Then divide the resulting figure by 324 (27 cubic feet equal to 1 yard) to get volume of concrete slab in cubic yard.
The rule: The concrete quantity in cubic yard = the slab surface (yd^2) x the thickness (in yard). If you measured the length and width in feet and the thickness in inches, you must convert the all measurements to yards before calculating the volume.
For example, If your slab is 30 feet long by 20 feet wide, the Area is 600 square feet. If you want the slab to be 4 inches deep, you’ll need 1.234 cubic yard of concrete. 10 x 10 x 4 = 400. Then 400 divided by 324 = 1.234 cubic yard.

For example, If your slab is 10 meter long by 10 meter wide, the Area is 100 square meter. If you want the slab to be 10cm deep, you’ll need 10000 Litres of concrete. 10 x 10 x 10 = 1000. Then 1000 multiply by 10 = 10, 000 litres.

To calculate how much concrete you need for slab in cubic inches, multiply the Length in feet by Width in feet by Thickness in inches. Then divide the resulting figure by 144 to get volume of concrete slab in cubic inches.
The rule: The concrete quantity in cubic inches = the slab surface (ft^2) x the thickness (in feet) × 1728.
For example, If your slab is 10 feet long by 10 feet wide, the Area is 100 square feet. If you want the slab to be 4 inches deep, you’ll need 57,600 cubic inches of concrete. 10 x 10 x 4 = 400. Then 400 multiply by 144 = 57,600 cubic inches.
